In Ireland, road safety and particularly child in car safety is a big issue. The Government has brought in legal requirements that must be met if you are planning to travel with children in your car. Children under 150cm tall or 36kg must use a booster seat which raises them to the optimum height at which seat belts work.
All baby seats must meet minimum requirements, United Nations standard ECE Regulation 44-03 which will be marked by an 'E' sign.
